The two discussed future academic programs and how the Consul may support the Canadian-American Center\u2019s endeavors to bridge gaps between US-Canada relations.<\/p>\n
Rodger Cuzner, who served as an elected member of the Canadian Parliament representing Northern Nova Scotia and Cap de Breton, visited with 91¸£Àû students, faculty, and staff, observed classes, and toured campus facilities including the University\u2019s state-of-the-art Advanced Structures and Composites Center. Mr. Cuzner was accompanied by Susan Morris, Honorary\u00a0Consul\u00a0of Canada in Maine, Erin Donahue,\u00a0Trade Commissioner of Defense & Ocean\u00a0Technologies, Dina Santos,\u00a0Consul\u00a0and Senior Trade Commissioner, and Marc-Antoine Dumas,\u00a0Consul\u00a0and Head of the Foreign Policy and Diplomatic Service.<\/p>\n
During his 19 years in Ottawa, Cuzner served in multiple roles including Parliamentary Secretary to former Prime Minister Jean Chr\u00e9tien, Chief opposition whip and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development. He started his role as\u00a0Consul\u00a0General in Boston in October 2020.<\/p>\n
