Use of the membership implies acceptance of these policies.<\/li>\n<li>Full members may purchase &#8220;secondary&#8221; memberships for their spouse\/partner and their dependent children aged 0-25 living in the same household.\u00a0 Secondary members must be added for a minimum period of 3\u00a0months, or the remaining duration of the membership, whichever is less, but there is a 1 month minimum.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"#top\">Back to Top<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong><a name=\"payment\"><\/a><\/strong><strong>Payment methods<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We accept:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cash<\/li>\n<li>Checks (payable to &#8220;University of Maine&#8221;)<\/li>\n<li>Most major credit cards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>_____________________________________________________________________<br \/>\n<strong><a name=\"changes\"><\/a><\/strong><strong>Membership changes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Changes must be requested in writing. \u00a0You can request changes to your membership at any time by asking the Rec Center Manager to help you fill out a Change\/Cancel Form, or by emailing <a href=\"mailto:gwendolyn.reed@maine.edu\">gwendolyn.reed@maine.edu<\/a>\u00a0.\u00a0 Phone calls are not accepted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Credit card change<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To change a credit card on file for a monthly billing perpetual membership, contact the manager on duty at 207-581-3453<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#top\">Back to Top<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a id=\"cancellations\"><\/a><strong>Cancellation Terms for Perpetual Memberships:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There is an initial 3-month period during which you cannot cancel\u00a0<em><strong>except <\/strong><\/em>when dictated by medical necessity (doctor&#8217;s note required).<\/li>\n<li>Cancellations must be requested in writing. \u00a0Your membership will continue until you notify Campus Recreation in writing via a Change\/Cancel Form, located at the Member Services Desk at the Rec Center,\u00a0or by emailing <a href=\"mailto:gwendolyn.reed@maine.edu\">gwendolyn.reed@maine.edu<\/a>. Phone calls are not accepted.<\/li>\n<li>Cancellations will be effective as of the end of the current month.<\/li>\n<li>No cancellations in the first 3 months <em><strong>except <\/strong><\/em>when dictated by medical necessity (doctor&#8217;s note required). \u00a0If you hold this membership type for longer than 1 year you will <em>not<\/em> be charged a cancellation fee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Cancellation Terms for All Other Memberships\/Passes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cancellations must be requested in writing.
