Pay a prorated rate up front for the remainder of the month, and then future months will be charged to your credit card on the first business day after the 1st of each month. If the charge is declined, your membership will be suspended until the payment is made at the front desk.<\/p>\n<p><strong>12-Month Membership:<\/strong>\u00a0Valid for 12 months from date of purchase. Buy 11, get 12th month free!<\/p>\n<p><strong>3-Month Membership:<\/strong>\u00a0Valid for 3 months from date of purchase.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong><a id=\"secondary\"><\/a>Additional Family (AKA &#8220;Secondary&#8221;) Members: <\/strong>Secondary full memberships must be purchased by the Primary member. \u00a0Secondary full members must be added for a minimum period of 3\u00a0months, or the remaining duration of the membership, whichever is less, but\u00a0<em>cannot<\/em>\u00a0be added for a period of less than 1 month.\u00a0Acceptable Secondary pass holders\u00a0include:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Spouse \/ Domestic\u00a0Partner\u00a0<\/strong>as defined by the University of Maine\u2019s health benefits plans. In other words,\u00a0the primary and secondary adult pass holder\u00a0must\u00a0have been in a relationship for at least 6 months and intend to remain so indefinitely, live together, neither one be married to anyone else, share\u00a0significant financial responsibility for each other, not be related by blood to a degree that would prohibit marriage in the State of\u00a0Maine, and be jointly responsible for each other\u2019s common welfare.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Legal Dependents<\/strong> (aged 0-25 and\/or declared dependent children) as defined by the University of Maine.
