SUMMARY:Undergraduate Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Training
DESCRIPTION:Undergraduate students participating in National Science Foundation (NSF)\, National Institutes of Health (NIH)\, and United States Department of Agriculture – National Institute of Food and Agriculture (USDA-NIFA) sponsored research are required to be trained in the Responsible Conduct of Research. The training is valid for four years; students will be provided a completion certificate\, which they should provide to their supervisor. \nFall 2026 Training\nThe Fall 2026 Undergraduate Responsible Conduct of Research training will be an asynchronous\, online\, self-paced course available from October 26 to December 4\, 2026. \nStudents may enroll in the course through Brightspace starting October 26.  Please note that while the course is self-paced and asynchronous\, all material must be completed within the above time frame. \nMore Information\nFor more information about RCR in general\, see Responsible Conduct of Research. \nFor questions regarding the Undergraduate RCR Training on Brightspace\, please contact the course coordinator\, Shelby Haëntjens\, Ph.D.
