The Universe Through All Senses /calendar/event/the-universe-through-all-senses-2/ Fri, 21 Aug 2026 18:00:00 +0000 /calendar/?post_type=tribe_events&p=12470 When asked to talk about the universe, astronomers will describe it to you in a thousand different ways. Starting with the diverse planets of the Solar System, charming comets, hot stars, and ethereal nebulae, they’ll take you on a journey all the way to galaxies billions of light-years away. Into this mix, they will throw in a bit of mysterious dark matter, a few black holes, a dash of dark energy, and finish it off with a pinch of strange elementary particles.

However, for an ordinary Earthling, such a list of fancy terms feels just like flipping through a cookbook, without being able to taste the individual ingredients, let alone the finished product. That’s why we decided to serve you the universe in a completely different way – You will experience it with all your senses!

Discover what it feels like to touch the universe, what a comet or cosmic space smells like, and even how the Saturn’s moon Enceladus or the planet Mars taste like. Listen to the explosion of a supernova, the rumbling sounds of the Sun, and more. See the glow of auroras and vibrant nebulae. This unconventional sensory-packed show is narrated by Jack Stephens.

Tickets for planetarium programs are $9 for Adults, $8 for 91¸ŁŔű Students/Veterans/Senior Citizens, and $7 for children under 12. Click here to view our .

Along the way, you’ll enter the core of a giant star just before it implodes, experience the quiet demise of a star like the Sun, and see how colliding stars seed the Universe with the building blocks of life.
