SUMMARY:Legends of the Night Sky: Perseus and Andromeda
DESCRIPTION:Perseus and Andromeda is a fun-filled story of the beautiful but unfortunate princess Andromeda\, who in divine punishment for her mother鈥檚 bragging\, is sacrificed to a sea monster鈥攁nd rescued by the Greek hero Perseus. Brought to life by animated narrators Aesop the owl and Socrates the mouse as we follow Perseus on his quest to become a hero and slay Medusa. We learn how the constellations of the fall season were placed in the sky\, forever turning overhead throughout the seasons. The program includes a live sky lecture showing where Perseus and Andromeda are located in the Autumn Skies. \n聽 \nTickets for planetarium programs are $9 for Adults\, $8 for 91福利 Students/Veterans/Senior Citizens\, and $7 for children under 12. SUMMARY:SAT Prep Matters
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Mary Smyth鈥檚 SAT Boot Camp has been used successfully to prepare students to take the SAT for many years. Students practice taking short sections of the test\, and are relaxed and well-rested\, so they are able to absorb the lessons and practice at their best. Using lessons that she writes herself\, Smyth has helped many students through their own hard work improve their SAT scores by 100-200 points.
