A Sense of Wonder celebrates the legacy of three emeritus professors in Painting: Vincent Hartgen, Michael Lewis, and James Linehan. These educators shaped the Art Department and collectively provided nearly 130 years of teaching and administrative work at the University of Maine. The exhibition features landscape paintings spanning their careers. It includes key works, as well as lesser-known paintings, some of which are on view for the first time.
